i'm looking through you, where did you go?

sorry hubs, but i've got to mention the Drews yet again. the show we're playing at 3 Kings got bumped to Friday June 16th. apparently the 3 Kings double-booked and Rising Up! got asked to play the following week. so i hope all who were planning on coming down this saturday can still make it next friday.

we've been recording lately and just finished all drum tracks for songs that could potentially be on the album. it's nice to have a phase completely done. next will probably be rhythm guitars, recorded by yours truly.

it's nice to be dating someone again, especially someone who is not high maintanance (e.g. my last two gf's not counting budapest girl). it's nice to double date with my friends. it's nice to go watch a movie at an air-conditioned apartment. the house on ogden street is literally an oven right now. we haven't put the swamp cooler in the window yet, and won't until some parts are purchased at the home depot. i do not know how long this will take, hopefully not too long otherwise the Nancy Drews will have to find another lead singer because i'll be dead from heat exhaustion. that's how bad it is, mofos.

less than a month and i'll be doing the long drive back to washington [state] to see my friends and family whom i have not seen in about a year and a half. it's going to be the bomb except for the driving part. why am i driving? you may ask yourself. well honestly i don't know. at first it was because i've got to pick up a bunch of shit my mom has for me, like old toys, tires, a chair, baseball card collection, things of that nature. but now i'm just wondering if i should buy a damn plane ticket and ship all that shit back to denver because all of that combined might actually be cheaper than gas there and back, not to mention i could save a ton of wear and tear on my 2002 chevy S-10 pickup which already has 81,000 miles on it due to several road trips such as the one i am about to embark on. i don't know, we'll see. if anyone has a buddy pass or frequent flier miles they don't want to use, think of your old pal spanish eddie.
